Talon Retreat is one of the two gated enclaves that make up The Retreat at Grayhawk. Single-family neighborhoods include Peregrine Villas, Peregrine Vistas, Crown Point, Talon Fairways, Talon Point, Renaissance, Monterey at Grayhawk, and Avante, and the condo and townhome communities are Cachet, Tesoro, and Encore.
Grayhawk Golf Club's Talon course, designed by Gary Panks and David Graham, opened in 1994. Between the two Retreats there are seven community pools, seven spas, and six tennis courts.
