Scottsdale packs four of its biggest crowd draws into one 30 day stretch in early 2027: Barrett-Jackson starts January 23, the WM Phoenix Open runs February 8 to 14, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show runs February 11 to 21, and spring training opens February 19. If you own near TPC Scottsdale, WestWorld, Old Town, or Pima Road, or you plan to tour homes that month, here are the confirmed dates and what they mean for you.
The 2027 dates, confirmed on official sites

All four events land in different parts of the city, so the effect on any one home depends on where it is. As of November 6, 2026, that page shows 6,592 Scottsdale homes sold in the past 12 months at a median of $960,000, with 2,432 listed and about 4.4 months of supply (ARMLS via Flexmls).
TPC Scottsdale and the 85255 area
The Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale opened in 1986 and was designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, according to TPC. The address is in 85255. Our homes for sale in 85255 page shows 1,216 sales in the past 12 months at a median of $1,500,000 and about 3.5 months of supply (as of Nov 4, 2026). Right around the course, our TPC Scottsdale homes for sale page shows 15 sales at a median of $700,000, $424 per square foot, and about 1.6 months of supply (as of Nov 5, 2026). Grayhawk homes for sale, also in 85255, show 197 sales at a median of $775,000 (as of Nov 2, 2026).
WestWorld and the 85260 area
WestWorld, on North Pima Road north of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, hosts both Barrett-Jackson and the Arabian Horse Show. Its address is in 85260. Our homes for sale in 85260 page shows 642 sales at a median of $746,250, $393 per square foot, and about 3.6 months of supply (as of Nov 4, 2026).
Scottsdale Stadium and Old Town
Scottsdale Stadium, the Giants’ spring home, is at 7408 East Osborn Road in 85251. Salt River Fields and the 85258 side of Pima Road
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, home of the Diamondbacks and Rockies, is at 7555 North Pima Road on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Homes on the city side of Pima Road to the west fall largely in 85258. Our homes for sale in 85258 page shows 734 sales at a median of $1,000,000 and about 4.0 months of supply (as of Nov 4, 2026).
What it means for owners, sellers, and buyers
These events bring large crowds to a handful of roads for a few weeks. The tournament says it has raised more than $226 million for charities over its history, and the Cactus League reports $764 million in annual economic impact and more than 1.7 million fans on its site. Those are tourism figures, not housing figures. We have not seen published data showing that event season moves home prices, so treat any claim like that with care.
What does change is daily life near the venues: traffic on Hayden, Bell, Pima, Scottsdale Road, and the Loop 101 on big days, more short-term rental demand during event weeks, and more winter visitors seeing the area for the first time.
Practical steps for event season
- Map your route. If you live near TPC Scottsdale or WestWorld, look up road closures and parking plans on the event sites a few days before each event, and plan showings, deliveries, and contractor visits around peak days.
- If you plan to rent, license first. Scottsdale requires an annual city license for each property rented for less than 30 days, at $250 per property, plus a state TPT license, Maricopa County registration, neighbor notification within 30 days of licensing, and at least $500,000 in liability coverage. The city also has pool barrier rules for rentals with a pool or spa.
- Check your HOA documents. Many associations have their own rental rules. Read your CC&Rs before you list a home for a week.
- Sellers: time showings and photos. If your home is near a venue, avoid scheduling open houses during peak tournament or auction hours when access is hardest.
- Buyers: use the trip. If you are coming in for the Open or spring training, book home tours on the quieter Monday and Tuesday of tournament week or on mornings before games, and drive the route from any home you like to the venues at the busiest hour.
Avoid this mistake: listing a Scottsdale home on a rental site for event week before the city license, TPT license, and county registration are in place. The city says it is illegal to rent a property before it is registered with the Maricopa County Assessor.
The honest caveats
- Event dates, times, and ticket prices are as published on November 7, 2026, and can change. Several spring training game times were still listed as to be determined.
- Market figures are 12 month totals from our own pages, each with its own as-of date. Small areas like TPC Scottsdale have few sales, so one closing can move the median.
- ZIP codes are broad. Prices and traffic effects vary street by street and by price point.
